Chamomile Flowers Cut and Sifted: Chamomile is considered a safe plant and has been used in many cultures for stomach ailments and as a mild sedative. Chamomile is used for various digestive disorders including indigestion, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, ADHD, and intestinal gas (flatulence) due to mental stress. Women use it for morning sickness and painful menstrual periods. It is also used for pain and swelling of the lining of the nose and mouth, sinus pain (sinusitis), and joint (rheumatic) disorders.
Cautions and Side Effects of Chamomile Flowers:
Pregnant, use caution as too much chamomile can cause spontaneous abortion. Chamomile is fine in small, weak doses, such as a diluted tea. Just do not overdo.
Use caution if you have an allergy to ragweed, as chamomile may aggravate the symptoms from these ailments.Should not be taken with other sedatives as in can increase the effect.
*Can interfere with blood clotting so do not use in correlation with aspirin or other drugs that have anti-coagulating properties.
